Sephy was napping when I heard her scream. Rushed over to find that she had grabbed a handful of her own hair and was yanking it. I had to pry her fingers open.
What ridiculous things do your LOs do?
Due 12/20/11 ~ Lost our Muskrat at 9w2d
4/25/12 ~ Our angel, Persephone James, is here!
DS grabs on to his face and squeezes hard. I have to take his hands off. So strange. But at 5 am he decided to sneeze which caused a reflex of poop and pee all over his changing table. I was half asleep so I of course was not ready for that.
Lucas fish hooks himself while trying to suck on his hand and gets so mad, then he bites his hand like to say ha if your gonna get me I'm gonna bite you. It's so funny to watch.
The face pulling seems common, but our LO takes it to an extreme and goes straight for her eyes. It gives me a heart attack every time! I can't imagine it doesn't hurt, it's like she's poking her own eyes out, but she's never made herself cry doing it. We had mittens on her for a LONG time because of this! lol
haha poor thing! Elise is a big talker. But it's so cute it always starts out with smiles and happy talk then it slowly evolves into a 'serious' conversation. I love when they get to this stage.

My daughter did that!! We were talking about it the other day. Henry can't because, well, he's got like no hair.
He rubs his face across my chest when he's trying not to go to sleep. And he screams when he yawns. But, the weirdest is when he decides he's done comfort nursing and pulls away, but when he starts to lose suction, he sucks again. So he gets frustrated that he can't get away from the boob he's still sucking on. Eventually, he breaks free and settles against my breast with a small smile.
DD likes to be on my shoulder and when she is tired she scoots her head till it is under my chin and moves my chin out of the way with her head and licks my neck. So weird and so funny. She did it to DH the other night, he finally got to see it first hand.

Ava has been doing the hair pulling silly girl. Something she justbstarted doing is caressing and patting my shoulder lol its so cute. Dont know if she means to shes only about 5weeks but its still soooo cute
When she's crying so hard & loud that she sounds like a duck! It's terrible & I hate to laugh when she gets like that but it's just so funny.
I know this cry, it is so ridiculous sometimes it makes me laugh too.
My danger loves her hands. Recently she learned how to stick her fingers in her mouth. Sometimes it makes her gag, and we have to pull her hands out of her mouth to get her to stop gagging herself. Of course she fights us and pushes them in farther, lol.
BFP#1 EDD 11/8/11 - MC @ 9w6d, 4/15/11 we said goodbye
BFP#2 DD arrived 5/7/12
My lo grabs his own hair too! When his hand goes towards his hair I try to stop it before he gets his death grip going.
I love watching him latch for nursing. He's a lot better now but sometimes still he will wiggle his head back and forth with his eyes closed, so excited to eat...and then vigorously latches on to the SIDE of my boob and starts sucking. It's like, just open your eyes buddy!
My girl punches herself in the forehead frequently.
She snorts like a piggy sometimes when she's crying.
After she is full, she arches back away from my breast, does a little wiggly full body stretch with her fists up next to her ears and makes the oddest scrunchy face before settling back with a relaxed look on her face.
She props her fist up to her head like the Thinker statue and will sit there with a serious look on her face.
Re: The funny things babies do
Haha, that's funny.
My LO will grab at his face when he is mad and end up scratching himself.
