  • If you've been testing at home with FMU and testing later in the day at the doctor's office, it does make sense. I'm assuming you took a urine test at the docs and not blood, correct?

  • I agree with OP.  Maybe not sensitive enough especially if you did a second urine test later in the day.  Wait a few days and test again.  GL!

  • I mostly tested in the afternoon. Ate there any other reasons for getting these faint positives and no period yet? I started exercising a lot more lately could that delay my period? Then I read online about chemical pregnancies..... I would not be upset if I wasn't pregnant but I just want to know already. Especially since I leave for a girls weekend tomorrow which is all drinking :(

  • The safest bet is no drinking. Behave as though you are PG this weekend- easy peasy. With my 1st I got two + HPT and a neg at the dr. I went back 2 wks later and it was + at the dr.

Why take a chance? Just don't drink this weekend.

if you tested after the dr and got a + it is not a CP. What HPT are you using? Are they pink or blue dye?

  • I agree with pp's about waiting.  I will say from my experience with chemical pregnancies, the line is a very faint positive and it gets lighter each day until I start bleeding.  I would wait another couple days and take another test.  If you're pregnant and it's a sticky baby, you will get a clear positive.  In the meantime, if you're going on a girls trip, have a drink or two but don't overdo it.  Chances are that you aren't pregnant if you got a negative.
