Morning Smoothies (link inside)

So I found this on Pinterest yesterday, and tried it out this morning. And it is really yummy!! I feel like I've given my babies a ton of more vitamins/nutrients than I normally do in the morning for breakfast (breakfast isn't my strong suite). I did add Activa Yogurt and frozen fruit to it as well - can't even taste the spinach!

  • i LOVE green smoothies! when you're feeling fiesty you can put kale in, in addition to/instead of spinach it's even more vitamintastic but you can taste it a little more. I make mine with 1 banana, 1/2 apple and a bunch of kale or spinach delicious!

  • Thanks!  I also saw that on pinterest yesterday but was a little skeptical of spinach in the morning.  Glad to hear that you can't really taste it!

  • Thanks! I think I'll have to try this tomorrow morning! I've been replacing my morning coffee with a glass of milk (usually with a little Ovaltine :) ) but this would be a great alternative with some different/extra nutrients!
