Providence Park Novi

Ladies, for those of you who have delivered at Providence Park Novi are you in the same room for your entire stay or do you have the baby one room and then get moved to another room? I also wanted to know how are they in regards to visiting hours and the amount of people you can have in your room for the delivery? I had my first at Henry ford west Bloomfield and had a wonderful experience...but I change jobs and change insurance so it would only cost me 150 dollars to have the baby at providence while if I go back to HF hospital it will cost me at least 1500 dollars but of course I don't want to sacrifice quality of care to save money. Also can anyone of you reconmend a good OBGYN? Thanks in advance!

    There is a team of GREAT OBGYNs right by Providence Novi. The name is Metro Partners in Women's Health in Providence Park.

    I delivered there a week ago. Everyone is extremely nice and I had around 8 people there in and out and in and out of my room all theought he night it was like a party lol for my 17 hour delivery. I only wanted my mom, sister and hubby in the room for the actual birth though but by the sounds of it if they all wanted to be in there they could have been! Dr. Crooks delivered me she is on my doctors team DiMaggio.

    Sorry didnt finish. I am actually thinking of switching to Dr. Abbey Crooks. She is the mother of 4 and super sweet/funny and easy to talk to if u have questions !

    Had first one there a few years ago and can't say enough about the L&D nurses. They were awesome. The food was good. Also go to Metro Partners - all awesome. Providence Park Pediatrics is, you guessed it, awesome. One of theirs will probably check out your baby before you leave. Feel safe knowing a great doc will see your little one. Having 2nd one there in Jan
