  • I loved The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding, I picked up a copy at my local La Leche League group.

  • I'm half way through Dr. Jack Newmans guide to breastfeeding, and i'm finding it VERY clear and informative. It is also on the reading list for DONA Doula certifying.Smile

  • Also, kellymom.com is a wonderful resource for all things breastfeeding and baby.  When it comes down to it, I thought the most helpful thing was having the LC come to our house (twice) to help us with issues we were having.  I think reading about breastfeeding is good but you can't truly learn it until you start to practice.

    Awesome point... ours was included in the birthing center fees and I *think* most hospitals provide them but could definitely be wrong.  No clue what they charge otherwise.  LLL is helpful, for sure.
