So I was a 12/14 in pants to start with. I have actually lost 9 pounds since I got pg mostlh due to morning sickness. I do not fit in any of my clothes and I am fully in maternity clothes. I just feel fat and I feel that is how I look too. This is my 3rd cbild...but my youngest is 9....

Re: When will I start feeling pg and stop feeling fat?,
Did you feel fat before you were pregnant too?
You're probably talking about the way you look. Once your uterus has grown enough to protrude from your pelvic cavity, you will start looking more pregnant (as you know from your previous pregnancies). Probably just a few more weeks. After that you'll be wishing you were small again! We'll all be walking blimps in no time.
Congrats on your weight lose btw.. I am currently the size you used to be.
you are going to gain weight. Say it with me now.. " I am going to gain weight". It will take a little time to get used to the fact that you aren't the same size as you were pre-preg. Once you have the baby then you can work on getting the weight off. It took me a few weeks to get over the weight gain. As long as you are eating right and not downing a bunch of junk in the name of pregnancy you will be ok.
" It sucks bc you want to feel cute, I know. "
and
Say it with me now.. " I am going to gain weight"
Thank you ladies. I just needed to be reminded of both of these. I am thrilled to be pg. I am totally freaked out about not just the gaining of weight but more how hard I will have to work to lose it (I am 36 will be 37 when I deliver). The difference is I will be working full time and will go right back to work after I have my baby...which with both of my girls I was able to stay home for 18 months....so...I am a mess of emotions right now.
My point being thank you ladies.
I was 20+ weeks before I felt/looked pregnant. One thing that helped me was maternity clothes, especially the tops that are cinched on the side- I feel like it helps to accentuate the belly. (Old Navy has cute, inexpensive tanks like this)
It will happen
Its hard to wait, I know. Good luck
one day your going to wake up and be like WOOOAAAHHH where did this come from hahaha
at least that is what happened to me hahaha
