We don't. There is no real need for clothes to be softened this way, Most of the world air dries clothes and does just fine. But if some softness is something you like, I think that a tumble dry does just fine. Commercial fabric softeners are made of petrochemicals and artificial fragrance, ew! Like a PP, we also don't use dryer sheets, we just use wool balls.
We don't. DH and DS have such sensitive skin that we just use All Free & Clear. The fabric softeners actually can coat your towels and make them less absorbent, so be sure to skip them on the towel loads. In my mind, they don't do much and are just another thing to add to my already long Target list.
We bought Charlie's Soap because we are CDing. It claims that you don't need fabric softener with it, and the diapers turned out pretty soft. We won't be using any additional softeners.

More Green For Less Green
None here, either!
We use Eco friendlier detergent with vinegar in the rinse cycle and dryer balls in the dryer. Works great.
Bounce Free and Clear dryer sheets.
Awesome. I didn't know these existed. We use the Bounce sheets currently, and I mainly use them because I can't stand static cling.
