So I DON'T have a smartphone. But I played on someone elses the game "words with friends" and I liked it. I'd love to play with some of my friends who have the game on their phones. Is there a way I could do that from my computer? I know FB has an app but can I play it with people on their phones who DON'T have a FB account, for example?
Random, I know, but I thought someone might know. I don't have a smartphone because I don't want to pay the monthly data fee.

Yes, you can play on Facebook against people without facebook. You just start a new game and select "mobile user" then ou can search for their zynga username.
Alao, if you want the apps and features of a smart phone but don't want to pay for the data plan, you can get an iPod touch. It's basically an iPhone without the phone part. You can still access the Internet, but you have to be connected to wifi.
