My son has bilateral optic nerve hypoplasia and has vision issues he is about to turn one and I want to get some professional pictures taken. We have had them done in the past and it's a bit difficult to get a good picture with him looking at the camera. Just wondering if any other moms with children with vision impairment have any little tips and tricks that have worked for them. Thanks!!
Re: Vision Problems
You posted this a few days ago, so I don't know if you'll read this but my son has bilateral chorioretinal coloboma w/ the optic nerve being affected in the right eye. That eye is all over the place, so I totally understand your frustration with photos! We actually just had his 1 year photos done tonight, and we had a private photographer do them. I just told her ahead of time that there would be quite a few where his eyes wouldn't be aligned, so she was sure to take a TON so that she would have a lot to choose from. She also moved to different angles to try and help his eyes align. I feel like a private photographer is MUCH better for a child with eye issues than a Portrait Innovations or Sears.
