We are just wrapping upa week on our boat with LO. I have 3 different sunblocks for him that I've been alternating among. They all cause reactions on his skin from little white bumps to full on fluid filled blisters. Poor little dude. I keep him in the shade and have him in long sleeves and long board shorts (which just makes him look more like DH's mini me) and a hat and shades, but I still need something for his hands and feet and face.
So far we have tried Badger, California Baby and Neutrogena. What should I order next?
And a recommendation - I picked up one of those beach tents the first day of this trip. Best $30 I've ever spent. He napped in it at the beach every day and gave me a semi-private place to nurse.
Re: Need a new sunblock for LO - what do you like?
I like Aveeno. We haven't had any issues with it, but we haven't had any skin issues of any sort with any products - he must have an elephant hide

1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!
1 FET in Aug 2013 = BFP!
you can look on ewg.org/skindeep to review sunblocks with low risk of allergic reactions. We use Blue Rhino and California Baby stick (not liquid).
It's really shocking how many products listed as "baby" are full of allergens, since that seems to be what most people would want to avoid on delicate baby skin!
