Car mirror recs for forward facing

I have the munchkin one and hate it.  It isn't real glass so it is blurry.  I don't need a convex one since I only have one child so far and would just like her to look clear when I look in the mirror.  Preferably made out of the same glass that a car rearview mirror is made out of, just smaller.  Suggestions?

I'm confused.. if she is forward facing, why do you need a mirror?

Okay, I can't find it online but we have one of the fisher price ones that hooks onto the passanger side sun thingy.  I actually have it clipped onto the overhead center console thingy because DH kept moving the sun thingy.  It is not real glass and I think it is a bit concave but I can see both of my girls perfectly clearly at the same time so it would be super great for just one.  I was just thinking yesterday that I should come on here and rave about it because it is so great!  I'm 99% sure that I got it in the baby section at Walmart.  DD2 has recently realized that when she looks into it she can see me so I am getting the absolute cutest facest while driving down the road.

This.... And they don't use real glass for baby mirrors because it would be a safety hazard in a crash. ?

Ditto to all of this. I've never ever owned a mirror and have never found one that could secure to my liking. I've also never seen the need for one for ff lo's.

  • Not to sound like an as$ but did you take the film off it (That comes on it when you buy it). Sometimes they are on so well they look like part of the mirror, and that can really make it blury.
  • She is forward facing yes, and I want to be able to look back at her without turning around, just like I did when she was rear facing and I had a mirror on the back seat so I could see her.  No there wasn't any film on it.  I ended up borrowing the Fisher Price one from a friend and it is ok, I guess as good as I will get with having a plastic mirror.
