How weird are you?

Ok, so everyone posts weird crap about themselves and we shall comment.

And, go!

  • I'll go first. I refuse to parallel park. If I cannot pull in I will circle the block until I find one.

  • I like to sniff DH and LO.  I sniff LO on the head and DH on his neck.  It makes me calm.  It also must be hereditary because LO likes to sniff his lovey.
  • I'm afraid of the dark.

Aw, thats ok. I have to have a fan on at night for white noise. If it's not on then I think every.single.noise is either a burglar or DD jumping out of her crib, opening her door and falling down the stairs.

I can only PP if it's on the right, and that I can do perfectly!  If it's on the left, I skip it or make 47 billion attempts.  lol

I often have to rewash clothes bc I leave them in the washer overnight.

I also do this.  And I put things through the dewrinkle cycle 1-3 times because I forget about it or put it off.

  • I have to have an equal amount on both sides of my mouth when eating things like MM's.

I usually cannot watch when people get humiliated on camera- I couldn't even sit through Borat.

I guess I am lucky then. The only place I go that may even require me to parallel park is the CDing store in downtown Olympia.

I have to hide my face or look away when people are being humiliated on a show.  It makes me feel squicky inside.  Like when the delusional people on American Idol or SYTYCD get told they are awful.

  • I physically cannot eat leftovers. If I try I get super sick.

I cannot be touched when I sleep. It freaks me the heck out!

Also, Quesadillas make me want to vom. I have a huge food aversion to them.

  • I can't watch or hear people brushing their teeth.  Even on TV.  It gives me a chill up my spine and goosebumps.
  • I won't eat mixed meats. Like, no bacon with chicken. Club sandwiches are therefore a no-no. Exception: subway's Italian BMT.

This also.  I think the weight of it just helps me feel more secure.  Our covers are always a mess because DH doesn't like any covers when it's hot, and even when it's cold he sticks his feet out the bottom of the covers.

I think I need professional help.

Also, I can't brush my teeth in front of anyone else.

  • And, one more weird thing about me... when eating candy bars or chocolate covered ice cream treats, I like to eat the chocolate off separately from the insides.  I don't just take a bite...

I try not to eat these things in public, because I'm pretty sure it looks weird. Not sure why I do it.

  • Left over food grosses me out- like hard core. I have a difficult time sometimes doing dishes and cleaning out the fridge. It's not so bad when I know I've cooked it but even then. However at my parents or in laws- no way.

Thank you! I'm not alone! DH thinks I am so weird for not eating leftovers or food that has been in the fridge longer than 2 weeks. He also hates it when I clean the fridge. I throw so much out and there will be like no food left.

  • I have a strange phobia about getting locked in the car, it also scares when I have DD with me esp in really hot or cold weather. For example if DD is with my typically I go around open the driver side door, then put her in. Close her door then get it. Then I can't close my door until the car is started. I have weird phobia that someone will be in the back seat if my door is closed I won't be able to get away. I also worry about accidentally locking DD in the car and not being able to get her out. My co-worker's baby was forgotten about in the car (by the sitter) in 90 degree weather and died. I know I will never do it, but it still freaks me out.

I worked as a care-giver and we weren't able to keep leftovers longer than 3 days- and that sticks with me when it comes to keeping leftovers. If it's been three days I'll be wanting to pitch it. When we lived with my GIL- I had a hard time eating (and I was pregnant- we ate out a lot because of this) she would refuse to throw anything away until it was like seriously disgusting. (We were trying to see if we could care for her as she is mentally ill and is in early stages of dementia). That fridge reeked and if I tried to clean it she would literally scream at me. Hence why we ate out a lot- the first trimester nausea in that house was awful- especially when she'd try to cook.

My H won't eat leftovers, ever. I don't know what his problem is, but he wastes a lot of food and then gets mad about it?? I will eat leftovers as long as they are only a day or two old, anything past that and I automatically assume it went bad and I have a huge problem with eating things when I'm "in doubt." 2 weeks though? I don't think anyone should eat it then!!

My weirdness - my towels have to be folded a certain way and the corners have to line up, sometimes I even fold them so all the tags are on the inside, but not always. H is left handed so when he folds towels they are immediately unfolded and redone, and then I yell at him lol

I also have to load my dishwasher a certain way, if it's not done the way I want it I get anxious and mad, so I usually don't let people help me do chores!

  • I feel like I can't actually be "warm" unless the blankets are heavy- unless DH decides he wants to cuddle at night- he's a freaking personal space heater. Poor guy- I get grumpy if I wake up hot and so if it gets bad- he gets woken up and told to move by his cranky wife.

I talking like if I had a tub of cottage cheese and it's been in the fridge for 2 weeks, but hasn't expired. I cannot eat it. Most things I go by the 1 week rule. Leftovers are just a no no.

  • All you toothbrushing-phobes would vomit if you came with me to work. After lunch we usually continue our conversations in the clinic while brushing our teeth.

I also cannot sleep without a blanket. I would rather sleep on a comfy couch than a bed. I cannot remember the last time I left the house without makeup on. I put it on every day in the hospital when I was having Jackson. I just don't feel put together without it.

I'm weird because I have 2 pouches of breast milk in my freezer that went "bad" months ago, but I can't  bring myself to throw them away :*( I dunno, it would make me sad to throw them away. Lol... I wonder how long they'll be in there. I'll probably just have to have DH  throw them one day.
