Do any of your LOs actually like to wear baby sunglasses? I have two pairs for A...one with a band that goes around his head and one "regular" pair. He won't wear either of them. The second I put them on, he's pulling them off his face! Any 2+ mamas have LOs who have grown to love sunglasses?
DH has extremely sensitive eyes and bright light bothers him (we have dimmer switches on every light in our house). I think the light might bother DS too, so I'd really like him to keep his sunglasses on!
We took A to the beach right by our house this morning. I settled for having him wear a wide brimmed hat, but I would have loved him to have his sunglasses on!
Just like bath time, the water mellowed him out! He wasn't happy/excited...he wasn't mad. He just chilled in his little float the whole time.
Re: Baby Sunglasses? (And an AW PIP)
Success After Losses. I carry your
O wears his no problem. I'll pip in a minute because I love him in them
Super cute picture of your LO just hanging out.
We have the kind that are a velcro strap around the head and Maggie doesnt mind them at all-- actually at the beach she kind of liked them, I think it helped block some of the wind and stuff. But my older son never liked sunglasses as an infant or 1 year old, just this year he has started to actually wear sunglasses without taking them off immediately and I think that has a lot to do with him being at the stage where he likes to copy DH and do everything he does (he has matching boots to daddy, has a baseball cap like daddy, wears sunglasses like daddy, etc.)
I just made sure DS always had a wide brim hat on to help protect his eyes since he didnt like sunglasses as a younger baby.
Look at A, so relaxed!
My DS actually doesn't mind sunglasses, although just this past week he's started pulling them off and looking at them with a total WTH look on his face. LOL
My Blog
DS puts up with the sunglasses (we have the stretchy band kind), but I feel bad because his eyelashes are so long they get squashed into the lens of the glasses. I know that would drive me crazy!
Love the picture of A chilling
We were just in the pool using that same float, although DS was trying to eat it, haha.
