We were thinking of keeping it just our parents until the ultrasound, but my SIL is getting married like 6 days after the u/s, so we didn't want to steal her thunder and distract from her day, so we've told all immediate family already (grandparents, aunts/uncles, 1st cousins and our siblings).

I've only told a friend who is also TTC cause we keep each other posted about positive OPKs and stuff like that. I will probably tell my sister today cause she's coming over and she also knows that we were TTC. Gonna wait on parents a little longer. Not because of the chance of MC, but just because I don't quite feel like I want to share yet

I don't feel like sharing either!! It's more my DH's family I don't want to share with because I don't think we are going to get a positive response based on some comments that they've made in the past... so I don't want to burst our happy little bubble just yet. : )
No one. I am thinking I might tell my sister after my u/s, but I don't plan to tell the rest of the family until second trimester. Hopefully I can hide it, but my bloat is so bad I don't know if I can keep people from guessing for another 6 weeks.
With my first pregnancy, I told my 4 good friends that I thought would be my support if something bad happened. Well, something bad happened, and they weren't there for me, my mom was. So I told my mom right away this time, and DH's mom by default. Cuz god forbid she doesn't know if my mom does. And that's all that's gonna know for now.

BFP 7/1/12 - Counting down to our little girl, EDD 3/8/13
No one yet ... but we are telling my dad in a few hours! He lives out of state and I hardly see him so this is perfect timing with our positive u/s yesterday. I am so nervous, but so excited. It will be his first grandchild.
The rest of the parents will be finding out soon, within the next week. Everyone else, though, it's going to be a secret for a bit longer.

Most of our close family and friends knew we were going through IVF and were there for us during our mc last year. We felt like they all deserved to know and we could use all the thoughts and prayer we could get. Everyone else will find out when I can't hide it anymore.

DH and I decided to only tell my parents at this time. We have been TTC for over a year and we have been working with a fertility clinic. At this point, we decided that it would be easier on us and everyone else if we told a little fib about it now (just in case something goes wrong) and then came along with really good news later on. Hopefully this works for us!
We told our parents and siblings only. My sister knew I was going to test. I knew she wouldn't be able to keep it from my mom. It only seemed fair that if we told my family. That we tell his.
We are waiting to tell aunts/uncles and friends until after the first u/s. I won't tell work or the rest of the world until after my first trimester is over.
I said SS because we've told my parents, my MIL and a few close friends. We don't have a great relationship with FIL so we'll wait a little longer to tell him, although we're not sure when that will be. Still deciding when to tell other friends and work. I'll most likely wait at least until 12 weeks to tell work.
We are going to tell our parents next weekend at 7 weeks and then will tell our siblings as we see them, which will be after the u/s. We might start telling really close friends between 10 and 12 weeks. We finish our 1st trimester on my 30th birthday so I might make the big announcement then.
