Any dates you're hoping baby ISN'T born on?

I know I'm a little crazy haha but for years I've had this thing against 9s. I don't know what it is, but I HATE THEM. I just think it's a plain old ugly number. Whenever someone gets married on a 9 I just get a disgusted look on my face. It's pretty bad, I need to work on that.

Anyway, when I went to my general doctor to confirm that I was pregnant, she did the due date calculation in her head and said it would be February 9th. But everything I've looked up online and every calculation I've done puts me at February 6th. I realize that baby could still be born on the 9th (in which case, I'll just have to get over it) but I could not stand saying Feb 9th as my due date for the next 7 months if I don't have to. So I'm really hoping baby isn't born on a 9, whether it's January 29th, February 9th or any other 9! But like I said, if he/she does, I will definitely have to get over my 9 hatred.

Any other moms-to-be have some dates they are kind of hoping baby doesn't make their appearance on?

Hehe yeah I think if you do have it on the 9th it'd be a huge reason for you to start liking the number.

I'd prefer if it doesn't come on Feb. 14th or 15th. But I'm supposed to be due the 7th so I don't think I'll need to worry.

I'm currently due Februrary 17th. I hope LO doesn't make their appearance on Valentine's Day, I want them to have their own day!

I don't particularly want the baby born on Valentine's day, but my in-laws kind of hope it is because that is DH's Grandpa's birthday. So in that case, I think I would be fine with it!

DH does not want the baby to be born the day of the Super Bowl (2/3) for obvious reasons!

You make me laugh!! My son is Feb 12, my dd is Feb 3.... One positive of having a RCS is they will do it early and it will likely be in Jan which give each of our kids their own birth month....which I like.

Call me crazy, but I kinda hope this LO is born in the single digit days (Feb 1-9). I feel like when someone's birthday is at the beginning of the month, them being born was really important to mom but people who's birthdays are in the 20's or 30's (not an issue with a Feb baby), it's like their mom had to get them in somewhere. Shrug, I probably am crazy.

Although, I am hoping for a Valentine's day baby or the 15th, which is my wedding anniversary.

lol yikes my bday is on a 9 hope you dont hate me! lol. my hubby's bday is the 2nd and my twin nieces bday is on the 3rd (the day I am due). I just hope everyone can keep their own bdays. its gona be hard enough trying to arrange bday parties in the future lol

yikes!!!! 2/3 is the day of the super bowl??? DH and my dad will not be happy if they miss it haha. Hubby will have me hold a tv over my v-jayjay so he doesnt miss the game haha

I really don't care what day my kids are born. My crazy SIL will be glad to know I'm not due in March this time, since we have 4 March birthdays already in the immediate family.

I've found it's harder to remember people's birthdays that are at the beginning of the month because you haven't changed the calendar yet. Not that you'd forget it but for other people.

O yes. I have, I think 3/4, ex-bf w feb birthdays. Two on the 14th, one on the 15th, and one on the 16th which is my due date. Weird.

OMG I thought it was just me. MY EDD is Feb 17 and I think the only date I prefer not to have is Feb 13.

My neice's 1st bday will be on Feb 16 so I have also thought about the pros and cons of the cousins having the same bday. But as others have said, I'll get over it no matter what date I get.

I'm hoping to avoid Feb 1st - its my step moms birthday and I'd never hear the end of it. Although I think it'd be kinda neat to have valentines day birthdays, but I have a hard time believing they'll let me carry twins that long...

Part of me does want the 13th though, because I was born on the 13th, and DS was also born on the 13th.

Ha. When I was about 36 weeks pregnant with DD I asked DH what his biggest fear was in regards to her being born. "That KU will be in the national championship and you'll be in labor." no joke. He was dead serious.

Hey! My birthday is a 9. I actually love the number 9 because of it!

I would rather my LO not be born on Valentine's Day, I want him/her to have his/her own day. Otherwise it doesn't matter to me!

Leap year! Ha but thats not a problem this time around

We have so many february birthdays and my SIL is also due in feb!

3rd is a cousins b-day, 4th is my b-day, 8th is aunts, 10th is bff, 19th is another cousins (which is also my edd) and 23rd in my uncles

SIL is due around the 7th, Its a crazy month for us!

My EDD is 2/12. I'm actually hoping it'll be Valentine's Day, though. That's also my dad's birthday and I just think it'd be neat. By the time it comes though, I'm sure I'm going to to want to go earlier rather than later than my due date!

DD's birthday is St. Patrick's Day, so I think it would be cute if this baby's birthday is St. Valentine's Day. But that is past my due date, so I don't care for that.

I'm saying I like birthdays at the beginning of the month Big Smile And April 3 is my mom's birthday, so it's a great day for a birthday in my book.

Actually, both my mom and I have birthdays on the 3rd, maybe this one will be third generation born on the 3rd.

I don't have any dates I hope LO isn't born on, but I would like a Valentine's Day Baby. Mostly because then we'd have a Halloween baby (DD) and V-Day baby (LO) from a New Year's Mommy (me-obviously). I think it'd be fun we were all born on holidays!

My EDD! It happens to be my Step-Daughter's birthday!! I don't want to steal her thunder on her sweet 16!! Bless her heart...she is such a kind young woman. Who knows how she'll react to the news. I'm thinking she'll have a sense of humor about it, but still. And what are the odds!?! I guess it is kinda funny.

My oldest friend married a huge d-bag who used to be best friends with my husband (as in was the best man in our wedding)-his birthday is 2/13. So baby B, no 2/13, k?! You don't wanna share a birthday with him baby, he sucks!

Jan 31st. I only had 2 other serious boyfriends before DH, and I broke up with each of them on Jan 31 (of 2007 and 2010). My mom told me never to get on an airlplane this day lol. So, I certainly don't want LO born on Jan 31.

I just hope mine comes on or before 2/22. That's my due date, and I don't want him/her hanging out for too long

My EDD is 2/22 ... the anniversary of MIL's death is 2/25. I go back and forth on my thoughts that the baby may "share" a date with a grandma they'll never meet.

I kind of hope baby isn't born on my due date 2/3 because I want to see the Superbowl. I love football! If the Packers make it again this year and I haven't gone into labor, the excitement will probably break my water.

And unlike everyone else, I kind of hope the baby IS born in Valentine's Day because that's my grandma's birthday. The day after is also the anniversary of the day we got engaged. That would make me super super late though, and I have a feeling at that point, I'll be a little more "Get this thing outta me!"

I actually love the number 9! Do you hate that beatles song "number nine number nine number nine..." I think that's so interesting that you have such a strong aversion to a number. I prefer odds by a lot though!

My EDD is Feb 26th and I hope LO isn't born on Feb 21st because that is DH's birthday. I don't really like shared birthdays although it might be kind of cool.

I just want the baby to be born after Christmas. Not because I want to "avoid the holidays," but because my EDD is Feb 16th. DD was a preemie born at 34w1d, and Christmas would put me at about 33 weeks. I feel like I can handle a preemie born at that time (and I have about a 25% chance of getting HELLP again, so it's a real possibility) but I am in awe of the preemie moms who have a LO at home and a LO in the NICU for months and really, really hope I don't have to try to figure out how to do that.

I know this post is all about when the baby would/wouldn't come in your ideal world, but considering everything that can happen, it seems a little frivolous to me.
