Exciting news!

I found out the other day that DH is coming home from Japan for my 20 U/S.  We found out we were pregnant after he was already on his way back to Japan, so we haven't been able to celebrate/enjoy it together.  Unfortunately, he goes back 5 days after the U/S, and won't be back until the red cross notifies him that I'm in labor, but I'm so excited to share a little bit of this with him!  We're not finding out what we are having because he said I have too many stipulations (I want to keep it a secret until the baby shower), but that's ok.  I didn't want to find out for my first anyway :) Could not be happier right now!

    That's great!! I am also sending you mad props for being pregnant with a H who is not home. I've only done stints like that (longest was when he was gone 2 months of 3rd tri last time, but now he's home a steady 10-12 days per month for this one). It's hard on so many levels. Not the least of which is having to tie your own shoes.

    Thank you everyone!  He is in Japan because he is in the Navy.  I would have gone with him, but I am also in the military stationed back home (Air National Guard).  Sadly, he is only going to be home for 2 weeks once the baby is born and then he has to go back for 6 more month.  At that point he will get a new duty station and we will be able to finally live together after two years apart!  A lot of stuff happening in just under a year.  Couldn't be happier!
