How Long where you on bed rest after ET?

Hey ladies, I was just wondering how long after ET you were on bed rest. Where you on bed rest the day of ET and the day after or the next 2 days after ET?

Did you stay in bed all day, did you go out to dinner?

Please describe how many days after ET you were on bed rest and how you spent your days while on it?

I was not on bed rest at all. I was told to take it easy, which I did. I did nothing more than light walking and light household duties for a few days. I was as lazy as possible.

I was on the couch day of and day after. I got up only to pee and shower. However, it was a busy time at work so I was on my phone and laptop the whole time, therefore violating the true spirit of bedrest. I did quite a bit of reading about the whole idea and concluded that bed rest isn't medically necessary but is done because if your cycle isn't successful you would otherwise blame yourself. This time, I plan on taking it easy and not doing any work from home.

My RE doesn't recommend bed rest and I trust her because she's up on all the research. For my FET last year, I pretty much back to normal stuff (including lifting/carrying two toddlers) that evening. That cycle resulted in a c/p which I chalk up to a bum embryo vs. anything I did or didn't do. This time around, I had my ET on Sunday and took a nap after I got home. I sort of took it easy that evening (we got take out for dinner), but nothing too out of the ordinary. I was back to normal activity level on Monday.

I was told just to take it easy the day of and day after, then light activities. However, DH wouldn't let me move off the couch unless I had to pee the day of ET and I had to fight him to let me up the day after. I was just pretty lazy overall.

I was on bedrest the day of ET and the day after - only get up to pee. I'm taking things easy until my beta.

My ET was today at noon. I am spending the rest of the day in bed watching DVDs and napping. I work in an office environment and plan on going back to work tomorrow. (If I didn't have so many meetings at work tomorrow, I would've stayed home and in bed that day too just because!)

I've never been on bed rest before, but my new RE wants 4 days this round....ugh!

I haven't done it yet, but I'm supposed to do two days of bed rest after the ET. I plan to read, watch tv and movies.

My RE requests 3 days of bedrest= day of ET and 2 days after. Only getting up to pee and stretch the legs every hour or so. I laid on the couch and surfed the internet as well as surf Netflix.
