Wanted to introduce myself :)

Hi all,

I have been lurking for a while and have found a lot of what you ladies post very helpful. I have wanted to join in on the posts but wanted to introduce myself first. I was originally due on December 26 but ended up having my son Easton on December 14 due to high blood pressure that eventually evolved into pre-eclampsia. I went on home bed rest at 36 weeks and then hospital bed rest at 37 weeks until I delivered. I was sad to have to have a C-section but we were just so grateful for a healthy baby since we had one previous miscarriage before Easton. Luckily I ended up with a pretty easy recovery and a happy easy going baby!

Also would someone mind explaining how to add a photo to you signature?

    Welcome :) I am not trying to be snarky, but the easiest way for me to explain is for you to go to the "new to the bump" board and on the upper right by where the moderator of the board is located there is a clicky for FAQ. Click on that and it will tell you how to add a pic to your siggy.

    I am not good with explaining things like that and I thought this would be easier for you! I look forward to hearing more about you and your LO. I had a CS too due to DD being breech.

    Hi! I just started posting again so I am kind of new too. I also had my son on December 14th, and ended up with a c-section because of high BP (not pre-e but still, crazy similarities!) I think it was KeyLime that also had all of those things and someone else too? What are we, Bump Quads at this point instead of Bump Twins?

    I keep meaning to add a pic too, I will try to do that tonight since I am at work too. I usually Bump from my iphone or ipad and still don't know all the ins and outs of using Apple products.

    Anyway, welcome :)

    Yes!!  Dec 14 was a popular day for mamas with high BPs to have c sections! :)
