Turbo tax estimator- anyone use this?

I just used this and put in everything- I think it was all the correct info.  And it says we'll OWE over $3000!!  Has anyone used this?  Was it correct?  We bought a new house and had dd last year, I was expecting a refund.  Now I'm freaking out a little...

yes we love turbo tax. ?did you make any charitable contributions? ?did you add dc as a dependent? ?education credits?

That is weird- we got married, bought a house and had DD last year, and the TurboTax full program calculated a HUGE refund, even before the $7,500 first-time homebuyer "loan".  I'd run it again or actually do your taxes by hand or with a program to find out.

So you're not using ACTUAL Turbo Tax program but the estimator on the website right?  Cause I did the same thing and it said we would owe.  Then when I bought the program and filed our taxes we are getting a refund, not owing anything.

Yeah, I'm convinced now that I just did it wrong.  There's just no way.  We got a refund last year and nothing changed that would cause us to owe.  I must have entered something in wrong, or forgot to enter something.  I'll try it again.

Ok, that's good to hear!  It was just the estimator, not the actual program.
