Ideas for a GREEN (environmentally friendly) nursery

We woud love to do a "green" nursery.  Does anyone have pics, ideas, or websites that would be helpful?  Not due until June and don't know the sex yet.

    I picked up a couple of books at my library about this. One is called "Raising Baby Green" and the other one was simply "Green Baby" They have been very helpful so far. GL!

    Check out TinyDecor.com , they're a cute eco-friendly store with design ideas and an online planning tool.

    Also google modecokids.com is a website that posts about lots of cool stuff

    Greenyourdecor.com is a website run by a great lady named Jennae - she did a terrific series of green rooms in a box (basically inspiration boards) you should check them out. They will point you in the direction of lots of great eco?friendly?sites

    Also, you should check out my site (link in siggy) I'm virtually decorating an entire house using eco-friendly items. We'll cover nurseries and kids rooms over the next few months.?

    Those are just a few I can think of for now - I'll let you know if I think of anymore

    It seems like the really green thing to do would be to buy used wherever safe and possible.  Isn't it better to reuse than buy something new even if the new thing is green?  Good luck!
