Our baby is almost 12 weeks and has been taking 4 oz bottles every 3 hours, but seems to be wanting more. If I give him a 6 oz bottle he seems to stay settled longer. How much are you feeding your babies at this point? Thanks!
My LO will be 12 weeks in a couple of days and eats 4-5 oz every 3-4 hours. Usually before bed we will give him 6 oz and that seems to hold him a little longer. Usually between 6-9PM he cluster feeds. He will have 2 oz each hour and take little cat naps until he has his big bottle.
My DD has been eating 4 ounces
Since 6.5 weeks, the
Doctor said by her 2 month she should be eating 4 or 4 1/2, she said some baby's eat 5 or 6 but she doesnt think she will be that big, now I just started reading the book on how to get your 12 wk old to sleep for 12 hrs and she said babies starting at 8 weeks can have 24 oz in 4 feedings. But i havent actually tried it yet...sorry she usually eats every 34 hrs at night she will do a 5/6 hour stretch until 2ish and then eat again at 6ish
A is a little unpredictable. Sometimes she only takes an ounce, sometimes she takes 5.
Lately it's been 3 or 4 ounces sometimes every 2 hours. MOTN I make a 6 ounce bottle since she goes so long, and she will drink at least 4, usually 5.
Daily total is anywhere from 21 ounces to 26 ounces.
If your LO is wanting 6 ounces make 6. A is good and pushing the bottle out when she is done.. So if I make a bigger bottle she doesn't drink the whole thing.. I'd rather waste a little formula than have to make another bottle right away.
B takes about 33 oz a day. He's a big baby though. 8 weeks 3 days and weighs 13 and a half pounds. He usually takes 4 to 5 ounces every three hours. However, his last bottle of the night, which is usually around 8pm he takes 6 or 7 oz and gives us a good 5 to 7 our stretch and then has on MOTN feed where he takes about 5 oz. Then always up for the day at 7:30...no matter what! Which we don't mind one bit.
Porter is finicky. 3.5 to 4 oz every 3.5 hours but cluster feeds between 7pm and 8:30 where I give him a 6 oz bottle and then an extra 2 and he sleeps 7 hours. A MOTN bottle of about 3 to 4 oz another 2 to 3oz about 6:30 then up for the day at 7:30
Lucas is actually combination fed, but he takes 2-3 5 oz. formula bottles a day. He eats every 3 hours. I bought one of those Dr. Brown's formula pitchers, and I love it for making "odd" amounts of formula!
LO eats 4 oz every 3 hours. Sometimes she only makes it 2.5 hours. And at night she will go anywhere from 7-9 hours without eating (she's becoming a good sleeper at night!)

C is coming up on 10 wks and eats 4-5 oz every 2.5 - 3.5 hrs. I am still pumping a little and adding it to the formula but she is mostly getting formula.
I want to attempt to drop the MOTN feeding so Im guessing giving her 5-6 oz before we put her down should help
