Trying to Get Pregnant

Preseed

To those who use it; do you like it? Is it sticky or have a funny smell? Thinking of possibly using it this cycle and just wanted some opinions. Thanks!

  • DH won't allow us to use it anymore! Even just the TINIEST drop and he can't feel anything... therefore, no finishing for him.... so yeah, we won't be using it anymore!

  • It's awesome, awesome I tell you! Big Smile

Not sticky and no smell. A little goes a looooong way so we use it very sparingly and BONUS!  - it's one of the only lubes that don't turn me into a bread factory. Sorry, TMI but it's the damn truth.

  • We normally use lube (Astroglide, in case that helps for comparison's sake) - we find that the Preseed is just as good for lubricating, but that it dries out a lot quicker than other (non-fertility-friendly) lubes do.  It definitely isn't sticky, which is a total plus, and it doesn't have a funny smell at all.

  • I feel that we actually need more of this than PP have mentioned.  I think there is a smell, not good or bad, just an odor.  I do like using it.

I agree with you. It dries out so quickly! If I use too much I wipe it on a towel or something.

  • I really like it! I've never notice a smell, and it's way less sticky than a lot of lues I've used.

We like it. I don't find it sticky and haven't noticed a smell.  I figure it definitely won't hurt to use it!  I just ordered our second tube of it. The first tube lasted a good 5 months. I took the advice of other ladies on here that a little goes a long way -- and it does for us.
  • We use it and really enjoy it. I don't find it sticky and I don't think there is an odor. A little bit does go along way, but as a PP mentioned, it does dry up quickly I find. I have used the syringe and other times I just put it on, both worked well.

  • DH and I aren't actively TTC yet, so we've only tried preseed twice so far - but I love it. It's not sticky at all, and I can't smell anything. We only use a little so I'm expecting the tube to last a long time. I like it better than the other lubes I've tried.

Yeah, I find that it dries out quickly - but it serves its purpose!

    I don't notice a smell

  • Thanks ladies. We normally don't use any lube but I've heard that preseed works well. The few times we did they were just sticky and smelled funny. Think I'll give it a go this cycle. Thanks for your input.
