Anyone else measure ahead already? I'm almost 19 weeks, measuring 23. We have our u/s on the 6th so I guess we will know then if baby is big or what. I'm still down 4lbs so OB wasn't too concerned...it just worries/scares me a bit to be measuring so far ahead so early!

Re: Measuring 4 weeks ahead!
My friend had been measuring 2 weeks ahead for a couple months - and finally they did at ultrasound and found out that baby just really liked "hanging" out on the very outside of her belly (like he was pushing himself up against the wall of her uterus)
I think it's kind of hard to tell anything without doing an ultrasound though. It could be a big baby, baby's position or some extra fluid floating around in there.
I hope you get answers soon
All this... Once you have your A/S at 20w, they'll have a much better idea of what is going on. I'm actually measuring a bit behind based off my A/S last wk, but I know my conception date, and even my OB said he would not change my DD b/c of the u/s. They really aren't that predictible unless it looks like many weeks off. As the PP said, the position can make a big difference. And if they just based it off feeling your uterus, it could be fluid. Many times 2nd babies measure bigger (your uterus gets higher sooner) anyway.
