Hi Ladies! So as of today, I am 41 weeks, 3 days by the doctor's count. My goal is a non-medicated, vaginal delivery. So, I really want to avoid induction as much as possible. I've been in early labor since Sunday with steady, hard contractions about every 10 minutes. They just won't speed up. I was 2 cm and 80% effaced as of Wednesday, and the doctor seemed to think my water bags would break within about 48 hours. That however, did not happen. The labor has moved to my back, and it is hard to walk, move, sit, breath, talk through them. I've tried pretty much every induction technique that has been offered on the boards. We know for sure that baby is in the correct head down, face back position from ultrasounds. I just don't think that baby is dropping enough to press against my cervix. Any recommendation to get the baby to move down? And any recommendations for help with the back labor?
