  Wow! Apparently since MIL isn't comfortable babysitting, she can't complain if she NEVER sees her grandson. And apparently her SIL's children aren't "real" grandchildren because SIL is adopted... Yeah... MIL sounds like a real piece of work. You know, all that taking in abandoned children stuff... only real jerks do that!

  My MIL is very stand offish of DD, and she is her only granddaughter, but that doesn't mean I don't think she deserves to see her.  Does it irritate me sure, but I don't blame her, it is just her personality.  I am sure she has her reasons.
