I wrote a post yesterday titled Bleeding. I had miscarried in November and we were expecting again in February. We found out today after our ultrasound that we are going through our second miscarriage. We are so devastated. I am so scared since which each m/c the % is higher that we will have another one, etc.
Our doctor has the best bed side manner ever. He is truly the best doctor I have ever had in my life. I want to wish everyone a healthy, happy pregnancy and of course healthy, happy babies.
Re: Unfortunate update :(

My super all about me birth story:
Then: Fraternal twins born at 26 weeks in 1983. Me: 640 grams. Brother: 840 grams. Family kept watch in the NICU for 5 months before being allowed to go home. On oxygen for a year and a half after being released.
Now: Me: PhD student and married. Brother: Lawyer and married.
Dad's wedding speech: Thank you to all the family who stood watch and prayed for our children's survival. Well now the little scrawny chicken is married. Who would've thought? (Thanks dad for making me laugh and cry at the same time).

PAIF/SAIF/PGAL welcome
I'm so sorry for your loss. But I just wanted to say that your chance for miscarriage doesn't necessarily increase with 2. For example, my 2nd miscarriage was due to triploidy, and it is a sporadic occurance therefore no greater risk for it happening again.
There are lots of things you can do, including getting a repeat loss blood panel. You can also talk to a genetic counselor. If you go to the Pregnant After A Loss board, there are many, many women that have successful pregnancies after multiple losses. I know it is really hard right now, but don't lose hope. Take care of yourself!
