Love love love everyones name ideas! So cute.. Havent gotten that far yet we're still trying to decide if we stick with L names or do something different or if Girls will be L's and boys will be something diff. or if we'll just be random..
Married 5/2/09 To my best friend
Lillianna Faith Born 8/26/10- My big girl kindergartner!
Peach- MC 3/2012
Logan Christopher Born 2/3/13- My little fighter, cardiac defects, 2 cancer scares and more surgery, tests, MRIs, cat scans, xrays than most people would have to face their whole life.
My DH and I are on 2 different planets for names. I like crazy, kind of out there names and he is really conservative. I like Atticus and Malachi for a boy, he likes John and Henry. I like Penelope and Elliana for a girl, he likes Ava and Brianna. So it should be an intresting journey finding something to agree on.
OMG!!! This is EXACTLY me and DH!
I want Eliana so badly but he HATES it! Seriously I think this will be the biggest battle ever. Right now he wont even put together a list -_-
BOYS: Samuel, Henry, George (husband loves, but I think of is monkey), Reid, Elliot
GIRLS: Paige (love), Stella, Mia, Lena, Celia
I am not sold on anything right now. As of right now, we are not finding out the sex, so if it stays like this, we will be bringing a long list with us to the hospital.

Yes, that is the correct pronunciation for Isla. Like the actress Isla Fisher.
Thats not true. Isla is the spanish word for island and is pronounced eez-lah. Something to consider when asserting that yours is the "correct" pronunciation.
Good to knowI. It wasn't aimed towards you. I just know my husband jokes saying "Iz-La". Also, I don't think I would ever be confrontational to someone on a message board and with my emotions right now, I don't suggest you start.
I didnt think it was aimed at me, I was just letting you know that you may find several "correct" pronunciations. I also didnt mean to be confrontational, sorry you took it that way.
We have only been able to agree on one name each, so our list is quite short We might try to lengthen it some more or we might just go with these names.
But really I don't like any names. I think I name overloaded too early so now I'm just chilling out until we figure out the gender then I want to pick a name asap.

While it is a Spanish word the baby name is traditionally considered Scottish (also for island) and it's pronounced eye-la if used as the Scottish name. The website I added is neat, it shows how often the name is mispronounced/misspelled!
We're going for Irish/Old English names. Middle names are mine and hubs.
FYI, Ian and John are really the same name; just in different countries/languages (both mean "God is gracious").
