My DH and I are on 2 different planets for names. I like crazy, kind of out there names and he is really conservative. I like Atticus and Malachi for a boy, he likes John and Henry. I like Penelope and Elliana for a girl, he likes Ava and Brianna. So it should be an intresting journey finding something to agree on.

OMG!!! This is EXACTLY me and DH!

I am not sold on anything right now. As of right now, we are not finding out the sex, so if it stays like this, we will be bringing a long list with us to the hospital.

Good to knowI. It wasn't aimed towards you. I just know my husband jokes saying "Iz-La". Also, I don't think I would ever be confrontational to someone on a message board and with my emotions right now, I don't suggest you start.

We have only been able to agree on one name each, so our list is quite short We might try to lengthen it some more or we might just go with these names.

While it is a Spanish word the baby name is traditionally considered Scottish (also for island) and it's pronounced eye-la if used as the Scottish name. The website I added is neat, it shows how often the name is mispronounced/misspelled!
