Hi Ladies!
My husband just got a job with one of Microsoft's game studios and we moved up here from San Diego, the middle of Feb. I know ZERO people here. I have a 2.5 year old little boy, and another little boy that is due to join us the end of August. I didn't know if anyone knew of any play groups or meet ups in the Woodinville, Bothell, Redmond, area.
I have always worked full time, but since the move, I have been fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my son. Being in a new city, knowing no one, and not having any other "adult time" besides talking to my husband is killing me! I am so bored!!!
Any recommendations that you guys have will be greatly appreciated!
TIA,
Cortney
Re: New to the area
Hi Cortney and welcome! I highly recommend signing up for Groupon and Living Social, even if you don't buy anything, because they show you what your area has to offer. Seattle has all kinds of crazy stuff (good crazy, not scary crazy...I'm pretty sure they leave that off of the daily deal sites).
Bumpie, StellaZ has a blog that lists fun stuff to do in the Seattle area:

Yup, the evergreen parent/baby groups are awesome, 0-3 months is free so definitely check them out. (then they aren't too expensive for the other months.) You might also want to check out Redmond or Woodinville toddler group. If it is like the Bellevue College one, you can attend your older child as long as the baby is in a front carrier. I know a number of people in the woodinville one.
Welcome to the areas.
