I am kind of all over the board but curious to know if there is a general consensus on these names. Also I am very open to other suggestions. She has a big brother Jackson. Our last name starts with an S and is very Itialian so names such as Tessa and Reese are out because they are tongue twister otherwise they would make the list. Thank you!
Brynn
Avery
Grace
Isla
Camdyn
Emery
Kendall
Re: girl name poll +suggestions Warning I like unisex names...
Brynn- is ok becoming very popular i fear
Avery- hate it for a girl or boy
Grace- love love and as a first name i think it would be awesome,,,it gets a lot of use as mn.
Isla-is just ok to me but very popular around here
Camdyn- is so awfu i have no words
Emery- eh
Kendall- i do not like for boy or girl
Brynn-Seems to be missing something...but it's not horrible
Avery-past experience has clouded my judgement of this name.
Grace-Grace is a nice name but I'm not big on it. I think it's my favorite in this list though.
Isla-Don't get the hype
Camdyn-The y throws me off but it sounds athletic and tom boyish.
Emery-I prefer Emery for a boy.
Kendall-I had a friend whose name was Kendall. It seems to fit an older person well, but all people start out as babies, so I'm not sure why I don't see it on a child.
Brynn -- NMS, but not awful
Avery -- has totally become a girl's name, and a popular one at that
Grace -- overused, IMO
Isla -- Love it
Camdyn -- truly hate it
Emery -- reminds me of emery board
Kendall -- sounds harsh
ha awesome.. Ghetto city in NJ is not what I am going for. I think we will cross it off.
Any other suggestions?? Thanks for your help
Brynn - its ok, it doesn't really do anything for me
Avery - too trendy, there are lots of little Averys around
Grace - very pretty, seldom used as a first name
Isla - pretty, I like this name
Camdyn - hate it, a lot
Emery- reminds me of 1) someone who has a hard time saying Emily, and 2) a fingernail file.
Kendall - it's ok
I really like Grace and Isla.
Kendall and Avery are ok.
Not a fan of Brynn, Camdyn, or Emery.
Brynn: I've always liked this name! Simple but pretty!
Avery: Not my favorite, but not bad either.
Grace: Love this one! While super common as a middle name, not nearly as common as a first name which is nice.
Isla: Love this one, too! I love how feminine, light, and pretty it sounds.
Camdyn: NMS...reminds me way too much of the city/county in NJ.
Emery: Prefer for a boy.
Kendall: Love Kendall...would be on my list if DH didn't nix it.
Isla is definitely my favorite!
This, we have "S" last name and I have found that names that end in the "S" sound don't really flow well.
Baby Boy born on 1/14/13
Brynn - Unisex name that would sound weird with an Italian LN
Avery - not unisex, for boys
Grace - ends in an S sound... best name on the list though.
Isla - Irish name, but nice
Camdyn - no
Emery - I don't understand the appeal of this name at all
Kendall - not unisex, for boys
Brynn-pretty
Avery-like but overused.
Grace-too blah/overused
Isla-Trendy, but I don't get it. Dislike.
Camdyn-It's a boy's name. I like Camden for a boy. Trying to make it girly because you replace the E with a Y does not work.
Emery-No
Kendall-I like it
I like Brynn, Avery & Grace.
I love the sound of Isla, but I think the majority of people don't know how to pronounce it so that rules it out for me.
Of your choices, I prefer Grace & Isla
The rest are NMS.
Love Isla
What about Riley or Rylan?
