She poops like a BF baby now

DD is soy formula fed.  She's always had clay-like poops *maybe* once a day. 

She's had 8 watery/mucousy poops in the last 36hrs. 

Otherwise, she's normal.  Eating normally.  Sleeping normally.  Smiling all the time. 

I called the pedi's office and asked that a nurse called me back.  I've been waiting 2 hours for a response, but it's right after lunchtime so I'm sure they are busy. 

Thoughts?

    My DH just left the Pedi - and they really didn't have a very good answer for us.  They said that it could be a G.I. bug....or it could be still left over from the antibiotics that he had last week --- or it could be from swallowing a lot of spit and drool lately.  They gave us a stool-collection kit so that we can take in a stool sample to test for some type of bug -- but they were really no help.  They said that as long as he is eating well and still having enough wet diapers than there's really nothing to worry about.  They were also pleased that he has gained a pound in the past 2 weeks :)  Hope you get some news on your LO soon. :)
