Cloth Diapering

Itti Bitti Tutto One Size

Hi Everyone,

I am a lurker but wanted your opinion since this board has helped me so much with cloth diapering.  What is your opinion on the Itti Bitti Tutto one size all in twos?  They're on baby steals today and wondered if they would be the solution for my little guy.  He's 29lbs and 21 months.  He's outgrowing his fuzzibunz mediums but the large are way too big!  Looking for a solution that is bigger than the medium fuzzibunz but not as big as the large.  Most one size seem to fit the same as the medium fuzzibunz.  These diapers claim to go up to 44 lbs.  What do you think?

 Thanks for the help!

  • I personally think they run small, especially around the legs.  My girl is only 3 months and just under 14lbs, but we are already on the last rise snap down before fully extending the diaper.  I love the dang things, they're adorable, super easy to clean (and I have the bamboo which is a bonus), but I highly doubt she'll be in them by the time we're potty training.

  • Oooh, I have been interested in trying these.  For those that have these... Do you find you can reuse the cover if you have extra inserts?

You couldn't re-use these if you had additional inserts--the inserts are really narrow and don't contain messes. They don't cover the entire bum and the diaper itself does the containing.

Darn, I don't think I will get them if they can't be reused.  My son isn't a fan of PFs, but we love our flip system and our Grovia hybrids.  I was hoping this might be another option similar to those.

It's a little different.  The inserts snap in, but one potential advantage is that they are very narrow in the crotch.

The Grovia Hybrids snap in too.  Right now, we can reuse for pee, but usually not for poo diapers, though I am hoping that might change once things firm up a bit.

  • Oh I had no idea!  I've never tried Grovia.  I assumed they were like Flips.  My bad!

  • My daughter is 15 months and around 22lbs and it is a squeeze to get into these diapers at this point. I really hate the fit and think they are better for tiny babies. Plus, the absorbency is just not enough for a toddler. We get leaks pretty much every time we use them, sometimes after just one hour!
  • Thanks so much for your help ladies!  I'm not sure which diapers to get now though...
