I'm wierd about seasons, months, dates, days of the week etc. etc. like if something doesn't look (yes look, as in on paper... I know I'm strange) good or sound good... I'll avoid linking an important event to it. Major example, DD was coming soon and I absolutely hated the thought of having her one 12/1 or 12/3 so I did my absolute best to get her out before then!
Now I want to shoot for her siblings to be born in May and September... just because I like the times of year and the way they look/sound!
Hopefully I'm not the only wacky one out there
Proud babywearing, breastfeeding, vaccinating SAHM of 2U2!
I don't know if wacky is the word, but I can find something to like about ANY season/month/due date if it means a happy, healthy baby! Some folks have preferences, but in the world of babies nothing is that simple. I will take what I get & not throw a fit.
For some reason I've always thought October would be awesome - it's my favourite month, and then my kid would get to have awesome Halloween themed birthday parties, which in reality I'm sure they'd probably start getting annoyed with!
Right now, March is my "dream month":). Seriously, I just want a healthy/happy baby.
Ditto.
My EDD with my CP was my grandpa's birthday, and that was nice, but I just want a baby. I could be super pregnant in the sweltering heat, super pregnant when there's inches of snow and ice on the ground -- I really don't care as long as I get a baby in the end.
I don't really, but I've always said I don't want to be pregnant in the summer because it's very humid and hot here and I hate heat. I've seen my mom go trough 2 summer pregnancies and I could tell she wasn't having fun. However I will take whatever I can get!
I'm a teacher and would love my summer break to be part of my maternity leave. So anywhere from May to early July would be ideal. At the same time, as long as we have a happy and healthy baby it doesn't really matter.
Right now march is because that would mean I am/would be pregnant ASAP haha. But I guess being due May would be good because DH is a college tennis coach so January-April is tennis season and super busy. And I had DS in July and was so freaking hot and I'm not sure I want I do that again. I really don't care much, other than wanting to avoid a holiday baby.
"For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him." x 2
I loved having spring babies, it was great to be able to get out and take walks and sit outside right away, but I never was showing pregnant in the summer and always wanted to wear the cute summer maternity clothes :-) Plus you aren't super pregnant and uncomfortable in the summer heat.
May is my dream month. Outdoor birthday parties, they're still in school so they get to enjoy their birthday day with their friends, you're only a few weeks pregnant in the end of summer and deliver before it gets hot.
With that being said, I wanted late spring babies twice and ended up with two winter babies. lol. The benefit of those months was being thin enough by summer to feel comfortable in a bathing suit and they were old enough for sunscreen so we could enjoy their first summer. Also, snuggling with a baby on your chest in the cold was really nice.
If it were as simple as picking I would love a spring or summer due date.
1. I'm a teacher and summer break would be nice for maternity leave.
2. I do not like the winter/snow.
But I know that is not how it works. So I will just focus on happy and healthy!
This has definitely been asked before. I don't have a "dream" DD. Any day/time/month/season would be great.
This. When you're trouble TTC or possibly IF....you will take any month which way or how.

I would love an April baby just because I would get maternity leave, then summer break (teacher) and my baby wouldn't have to go to daycare until almost 5 months old.
That was our goal with DS too and he ended up being born July 3rd. I'm going to try harder for April this time now that I know a lot more about ttc. Last time I felt cheated out of maternity leave and totally not ready to leave my little guy. I know my 8 weeks was the same or even better than what many women get, so I'm not trying to complain about it, but I'm going to try to take advantage of my schedule.
That being said, I just want a healthy baby. We started trying already even though due date would be in March at this point and will continue trying when due date will mean no maternity leave again.
Any month! Used to think I wanted to avoid December since my Bday is then and I don't really like it, but now I will take any date!

If I could have my pick, I'd pick anytime of the year but winter. We travel long distance for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, and I wouldn't want to be so pregnant at that time that I wasn't allowed to travel. I also wouldn't want to be cooped up in the house with a newborn. That said, we didn't try to avoid those months and would gladly have taken a winter baby. Nine months into the TTGP game, and we'll take anything we can get. Right now, I'm thinking late March/early April 2013 sounds particularly lovely.

DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA
October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos
November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues. Converted to freeze all due to lining issues. 2 blasts frozen on day 6!
January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues
I found it hard having DS in January. It was a brutal winter and I had some PPD so it sucked being trapped inside a lot. I'm hoping #2 is a spring/summer or early fall baby. But we also won't avoid trying if we are not pregnant next spring.
Since my DD was born in October, having a spring or summer baby would be nice, since it would make it easier for us to get outside and not be stuck inside so much. It would also be nice to have some time between their two birthdays in the year. It was also hard having a newborn during cold/flu/RSV season (especially with a LO in daycare), so that makes spring and summer more "ideal". However, I'm going to be thrilled with whatever timing we get. I just want a healthy baby!

My new school has a year round schedule so the middle to end of march would be great since I would be on break for a couple of weeks before having to use any sick/vacation time. But honestly I'll take whatever due date I can get if it means a healthy baby.
I would prefer not to have LO #2 in April... I have a lot of deaths/bad memories of that month so that's why...
Then again if I had a LO then I would change it to "well, here's something great that happened in April that makes up for all the BS"... so it wouldn't matter to me if that did happen
My "ideal" pregnancy/due date would be to get pregnant somewhere in September/October/November and be pregnant through the winter, then have the baby in spring or summer when we're not cooped up inside during maternity leave, would be able to throw birthday parties outside for their childhood instead of paying an arm and a leg for indoor activities etc... BUT given a choice between my "ideal" or to have back my September due date or January due date, I would rather have the babes I lost no matter their due date.
We are only trying until September I graduate next May and will start my internship year next July.
Ideally, we would have a LO in March or April. That way I'll have atleast 2 months home with the baby before internship h3ll starts! We were going to TTA in August because I don't want to miss graduation if I went into labor, but I don't think I'll be able to stop trying since we have such a limited time.
I'm starting to lose hope that we'll get KU this year. We won't start TTC again until early 2014 Come on sperm meet egg!
The name is Angel. I'm 27 years old & DH is 28. We have been together for 12 years, married on May 21, 2011. We are TTC #1! I was diagnosed with endometriosis via laparoscopy in August 2010. Off of BC since March 2012. I am a 2nd year OB/GYN Resident physician. I love getting to be involved in precious miracles first moments of life, and I can't wait until the day we are blessed to have our own miracle!
I would have loved to have another February baby, since hopefully that would mean a less then 5 year age gap. Sadly that's not possible now. Now I'm hoping for a March/April/May baby, mainly because I don't want to be 6+ months pregnant in the FL summer. I've had friends go through that and they've all been miserable. But it will happen when it happens. I really just want the baby God has for me, not just based on my own agenda.
This has definitely been asked before. I don't have a "dream" DD. Any day/time/month/season would be great.

every month changes... i started wanting an august baby my first cycle and a september baby my second cycle and an october baby my third.......... and right now i'm hoping for a march baby and if this month doesn't work out, i'll be crossing everything for a healthy baby in April....
Ideally, it would be nice to have a baby after the cold winter months, so I wouldn't have to be cooped up in the house without nice fresh air with the baby.... But realistically, I'll take what I can get--- and if that means a newborn baby in the middle of winter, YES PLEASE! lol
TTC #1 since May 2012; Diagnosed with septate uterus July 2012
I'm totally OCD and hope that I don't have "ugly" dates.. and instead have nice numbers that flow. I would also love to have a warm birth month so they can eventually have pool and beach parties for their birthdays.

My husband and I going to start trying to conceive in August so that the baby will be due in April/May/June-ish.
I'm a teacher, so my due date will be toward the end of the school year. That will give me time to stay home with the baby without it interfering with work.
We'd like for the baby to be born in May, which is my birth month, because we made the decision to start our family this past May. Plus, we know a lot of other "May babies" and have one giant party to celebrate each year. Adding a new May Baby would be wonderful!
It's cute that March is such a fave! DD was a March baby and it really was a great time of year to have a newborn. That said, I went into labor at 1am on the 16th and REALLY did not want a St. Patrick's Day baby. She was born 20 minutes before midnight, phew.
We're shooting for April-June this time. If I don't get pregnant by the end of September, we may TTA for two months. We really don't want a summer baby for the ridiculous reason of wanting the kid to have his/her birthday during the school year. But we may just keep humping it out, too, because any baby is a blessing, obviously.
However, both DH, my mom, and I have birthdays on the 13th. Supposedly, all of the little due date calculators give me a date right arond mid-March (11th-13th) if this is our lucky cycle. So, it would be really neat to have a kid on the 13th as well, but, again, I just want a LO.
Really I'll take a healthy baby at any time, but I'd love a late spring baby. Warm enough to have parties outside if we want and taking maternity leave in the spring are probably my two reasons why. June is turning out to be an awesome month for us (DH started a new job, we moved into our new house and sold our townhouse) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be the month. So I'd be perfectly happy with an early spring baby too. :-)

We are going to start trying in Sept/Oct/Nov and I'd love a summer baby. In my family we have no birthdays in the summer except mine, and it's a pretty stress-free time of year.
Here in Canada we get one year off for maternity leave so I think it'd be great to go back to work toward the end of the following summer so I could spend a whole summer with my (almost) one year old.
But once we start TTC I will not TTA any month, I'll be happy with a healthy baby anytime of the year.

The 18th of any month would be cool. My birthday is October 18, DH's is July 18th, and our wedding anniversary is June 18th. I would never have an induction or a c-section or anything to have it happen that way, but it would be pretty neato-burrito if it happened by chance.
