My middle name is Frances and I kept it even after I got married! I love it!
My middle name is Frances too. My first name is VERY popular, so alot of people call me Frances or Franny. I love it - and answer much better. We're not sold on Hadley, but we will be using Frances.
I know the spelling of the middle name is funky, but there's a story behind it!
When my husband was born his father was... well, let's be kind and say he was kind of wild and crazy in his youth. His name had been picked out for ages... it was going to be Justin Elias Sweeney. Well, his father shows up late for the birth and high as a kite. He demands to see the kid and also the birth certificate, which had not been signed yet. And at the last minute he crosses off the middle name Elias and changes the name to Kilo.
Yep. I'm dead serious. To this day, my husband's full name is Justin Kilo Sweeney.
Luckily, my husband turned out nothing like his father. He's fairly straight edge, doesn't even drink. He's not really ashamed of the name, he thinks it's funny and tells the story to anyone who asks about it. So as sort of a hommage to Justin's crazy father and the goofy middle name he wound up with, our son gets to be Elias Gram. Kilo-Gram, get it?
Anyway... maybe he'll hate us for it. But at least he'll have an easier time than my husband, since everyone who hears it will assume it's got the proper spelling "Graham" unless told otherwise.
Ken is after my brother Kenny who passed away, i was a sophomore in HS and was 23 the same age I will be when she is born, we were very close
Elizabeth is after my DH's grandmother who passed away 6 months after we got married and we were both close with her, even though I had only known her a short time she loved me like i was her own and she was excited for us to start a family.
October 2012 Pumpkin Patch Babies click here for list.
Our top name for DD is Norah Grace, but it's not final yet.
Us too - but without the H - Nora Grace (Norma was my grandmother name and Grace was DH's grandmothers name - we felt Norma was not quite what we wanted so we are thinking Nora)
We are team green - so we have been throwing a lot of names out there - the only boy name we came up with was Aiden Matthew.
James is my late grandfather's name and Fredrick is H's grandpa's name.
It was originally going to go with William and call him Liam but people would just call him Will so we went with Liam. It's popular but what can ya do!
Yes, we know this is close to DS#1 but he goes by Ty or TJ so TJ and Taylor sound fine to me. Also, whenever I picture her with any other name it doesn't sound right. We may come up with a back up name but we have very different naming styles so it has been difficult.
UGH THE NAME DEBATE! Every time we bring up names I get a headache and beg to stop talking about it. We seem to keep adding more possibles to the list rather than eliminating names. We are moving in the wrong direction. At this moment in time we are looking at:
Marcus Conner
Michael Oxley
Conner Maddox
Hubby likes the weird names, I like the traditional...it's a touchy subject. They are all up in the air for the time being.

The first name we picked out while getting carried away with daydreams when we were dating. Joy is my SIL's middle name, though we really just picked it because it was the only thing we liked with Rebekah

Remembering my angel baby, Ezekiel, 09/03/2011...you will forever be in my heart.
Haven't been telling folks IRL so this is fun!
Noah William
William is a family name on my husband's side and Noah we just like.
This week we are leaning towards Avery May.
May is H's grandma's name and also SIL's last name - which is why we'd spell it with the y instead of the e at the end.
But still not 100% sold on Avery.
Nathan James is my husband's name!! :-D
I work with someone with this name
AND someone with this name
But in both cases the MN above is their last name. Too funny!
Dd1 is Sydney Allison
Dd2 is hayley madison
Ds will be Jackson stephen(dhs first name)
We have been pretty set on Juliet Patricia, but we may change our mind down the line still.
ETA: Also I am impressed with the good names on this list. When I see the Baby Names board, I sometimes want to weep for humanity.
Liam James Fredrick
James is my late grandfather's name and Fredrick is H's grandpa's name.
It was originally going to go with William and call him Liam but people would just call him Will so we went with Liam. It's popular but what can ya do!
We are really undecided but currently going with
Taylor Brooke or Taylor Reese
Yes, we know this is close to DS#1 but he goes by Ty or TJ so TJ and Taylor sound fine to me. Also, whenever I picture her with any other name it doesn't sound right. We may come up with a back up name but we have very different naming styles so it has been difficult.
