DH just did his janitor job and afterwards I asked him to pick up the air conditioners from my parents' house.
Well he just calls me and goes "hey where do your parents live?"
Uhm.
A) we go there at least once a week.
WE LIVED ON THAT STREET FOR A YEAR.
I told him those and he was like "Sooo... where do they live"
I givethefuckup.

Yikes indeed. I'd be afraid to leave this one with the kids, lest he forget where he lives.
he knows where we live and where work is. That's all I allow him to drive because he has killed 2 out of 5 cars we have owned since 2009.

How has he done that? Also, I think my husband would use the d word if I started controlling his whereabouts.
Accident 1 was technically not his fault. He had the straight away and he got nailed in the side. It wasn't his fault but due to the dynamics of this intersection he should have known to wait before pulling out.
Accident 2 was his fault. He tried to merge without looking. I saw a truck, yelled. He swerved lost control and we went across 3 lanes of rush hour traffic into a guardrail.
Originally he didn't drive again because the 3 car was completely under my name and I wasn't putting him on my insurance. When we got the minivan in October we put him on since we're married. I told him point blank his driving made me nervous and we agreed he didn't drive with the kids in the car.
Well the only times the kids are not in the car is when he goes to and from work.

I have to find everything for DH... kitchen utensils, his work badge, his wallet, his underwear, the potatoes, cell phone, etc.
Sorry. I have a reputation for telling it like it is, and not beating around the proverbial bush. I'd have a hard time with that.
I did this once. Over a deer. It has no bearing on my driving skills, except to say that I'd rather wreck my car, instead of face the possibility of a deer flying through my windshield. FTR, I swerved to NOT hit the deer (in a 24 mph zone), and ended up losing control of my car, after over-correcting. I went up an embankment, and rolled down a hill several times. The fire department had to use the jaws of life to get me out, via the trunk. They had to rip out the seats to get to me.
Yes and I got tboned by a over sized load in April. Where the back half of my van was severed from the front.
But DH's driving is horrible. It is a miracle that he only had 2 accidents. He is all over the road, doesn't cover his blind spot when merging and tends to zone out in residential areas. He even admits his driving isn't that wonderful. We both went to the same driving instructor and he had more behind the wheel time but he cannot grasp driving.
I don't let anyone who can't drive drive my kids. DH is no exception.
