NBR: Update on our Dog

Well. The vet called us back and Lucy has lymphoma. I had no idea I would have to worry about this so early, she's only six. DH and I are both pretty upset because she was our baby for 6 years before we had LO. I broke down when DH called me crying. But we have an appointment with a cancer specialist next week. At this point we don't really know what our options are or if we can even afford it. Thanks for thinking about our sweet Lucy.

    oh no.... I know how hard this can be - I've had 3 dogs with cancer. So sad.... *hugs*

    I'm sorry. We've spent nights in the ER with Tucker before so I know that when something happens to your furry baby it's devastating. I hope everything turns out ok.

    I was SO hoping is was just an infection.  I'm so sorry!!  

    Unfortunately, vet bills can be extremely expensive when pets get sick.  Do you have pet insurance?  That, in itself, is not cheap, but it's the lesser of the two evils.

    I hope you're able to find an option that you're comfortable with.  T&Ps to Lucy!

    Thanks Ladies. We don't have pet insurance, that's what I'm nervous about. But we love her and she is like our baby, so we are going to do all that we can :(
