Hi, I am another newbie. I have been lurking for a few months and finally created a profile last month. I am thankful I "lurked" for a little while. Because if I am being honest, I in the beginning didn't understand the snark and wanted to defend everyone. BUT then after only 3 months that feeling has faded, so I can only imagine after 6 months and longer how one must feel. I now know that the Snark is a very necessary part of these boards and TTGP in general.
I am already a proud mom of 3 boys (1 being my stepson). My H and I have been married for almost a year and decided to try for one together. When I first started trying the excitement made me annoying because I had a every phantom symptom and thought for sure I would be pregnant as soon as we decided we were trying.
At first we were just having sex almost every day and that hasn't worked. I just received my OPKs from amazon and will try this for a couple of months and then will move on to temping.
Thanks for the laughs! (BTW I have read the newbie link, have a chart on FF though it is almost worthless at this point without temping, and have read all of POAS.com)

Hi and welcome!! I know what you mean, I was the same way wanting to defend everyone. I will say that there is some unwarranted snark sometimes, but in general, most of it is deserved.

3/2012 HSG left dialated/Hydrosalpinx, right tube blocked
3/2012 SA - Normal! Go little swimmers!
Lap. surgery 6/13/12 stage 4 Endo Cleared tubes, removed cysts and adhesions.
Repeat HSG, right tube blocked/left hydro. PCOS, and Endometrial hyperplasia.
Moving forward with purchasing a home, then maybe IVF/ adoption/embryo adoption/ or child free.

TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38
Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.
Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!

BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)
3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!
Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500
First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat
LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!
TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015
Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015
Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270
First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.
JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

The name is Angel. I'm 27 years old & DH is 28. We have been together for 12 years, married on May 21, 2011. We are TTC #1! I was diagnosed with endometriosis via laparoscopy in August 2010. Off of BC since March 2012. I am a 2nd year OB/GYN Resident physician. I love getting to be involved in precious miracles first moments of life, and I can't wait until the day we are blessed to have our own miracle!
