  Lots of baby tears/screaming with today's shots but once she was calm enough to nurse all was well.

  Our little chubbers is 19 lbs and 26.5 inches now!

  The nurses were not at all concerned about consonant sounds at this point.

  Did someone tell you they would be? I thought it was a 6-9 month milestone.

  No I was just unsure. She's been saying "gaaa" and "mama"  for a few weeks but no new sounds were emerging.

  I know now that we are looking for the sounds p,m,h,n, and w to show themselves in the next few months.
