How far is your doctor's office from your home? How far from work?

How far is the hospital your doctor is affiliated with from your home? How far from work?

My doctor's office is right next door to the hospital and both are about an hour from my work. They are both 30 minutes from my house however.

There is another hospital closer to my house (~20 minutes), but it's a horrible hospital, and I would have obviously change doctor's. I love my ob's office. They delivered my DS and have no plans on changing. I am just curious how far everyone is driving.

My doctor's office is 1 hour from my house and only about 10 minutes from work. His office is attached to the hospital.

I am in the same situation as 'financialdiva' where there are other hospitals closer to my house, but I refuse to go to either of them because they are horrible! I absolutely love my doctor and his staff and with it being close to my office, I don't want to swtich anywhere else. He was wonderful the entire time with LO#1.

Doc is 15 minutes from home/35 min from work.

My midwife is 1hr 1/2 away, but I will be delivering at home.

My doctors office is an hour away and the hospital is right next to the doctors office. It's right next to my husbands work though. We have a hospital like 15 minutes away from us as well, but it's a nightmare so I decided not to go there.

My doctor's office is right next to the hospital. It is about 10-15 minutes from home and I work at the hospital so not much of a commute there!

My Dr. and hospital are a little over 20 minutes away. We have a hospital about a mile from my house but I wouldn't even consider delivering there.

How far is your doctor's office from your home? He goes to 3 clinics and I rotate between seeing him at 2 of them. One is about 30 minutes from my house and the other about 20 minutes.

How far from work? Both are about 45 minutes from work. (Work is east of my house and doctor/hospital are west)

I could see a doctor closer to where I live and/or work but I love my doctor and the hospital is good. It is going to suck having to use sick time for appointments because that will leave me with less sick time to get paid out during maternity leave but I believe it's worth it! If it's horrible then I'll switch for my next baby.

My MW is about 15 minutes from my home (where I work most of the time) and the hospital is about an hour away. There is a hospital literally 5 minutes if that from my house, but the OB's associated with it don't take my insurance. Besides I like my midwives.

20 to 25 minutes in no traffic. But I'm in the DC area, so that can be lengthened dramatically depending on the time of day . . .

Dr office is on 2nd floor, L&D is on 3rd.

I'm lucky to live in an area where there are like... at least 6 major hospitals in a 20-30min radius. It's kind of crazy. The hospital I will be delivering at is probably 10-15 mins from my house and my doctors office is about 15-20 mins away.

When I worked, the doctor I saw actually had 3 locations so I was able to schedule my appointments at the one nearest my work and it was only about 5-10 mins away. The hospital I deliver at would have been on the other side of town from my work, so probably 25-30 mins.

My doctor's office is located at the hospital where I will be delivering. The hospital is about 5 miles from my house. When I went into labor with DS I was so glad the hospital was so close. I felt like my contractions in the car were worse. I guess because standing seem to help me get through the difficult contractions.

The doctor office and hospital are right next to each other and are about 20-25 minutes away. My OB bounces between offices and I can see him at the office that is 7 minutes away

The hospital near my home is horrible though so I will gladly drive the distance.

My dr office is about a half hour away and my hospital is a good 45 min away. My stupid insurance is very limited so I didn't have to many options. But luckily both doc and hospital and good ones!!

My doctors office is about 25 minutes from home, more with tourist traffic in the summer. But it is an hour away from work (I work 30 minutes to the north).

The hospital is across the street from the doctor's office.

There is only 1 hospital to choose from; luckily it is a great one and is consistently in the top 100.

My doctors office is at the hospital I am delivering at - it is about 20 minutes from my home (and my work, since I WAH) and it is about 2 minutes from DH's job (its an on base hospital, he works at the same base as the hosptial).

my ob is about 35 mins from work, about 30 mins from my house

the hospital she is affiliated with is like, 20 mins from my work, but like, 45 mins from my house

there is a hospital closer, like 20 mins from my house...they both recently re-did their maternity ward....i was born in the hospital i'm currently with, and my sis gave birth at the one closer to my house...

if we switch obs, the ob and the hospital will be much closer to home, but further away from work...but i'm not too concerned about how far from work...i'm due the 2nd...and we're closed the 1st, and i'm contemplating working from home the week between christmas and new years (i have to work, i work corporate retail, and it's our busiest time) so....we haven't decided yet..

My OB's office and the hospital he prefers to deliver at are right next door to each other. With no traffic, it's 15 minutes from my house and 30-35 minutes from work.

He can deliver at a much bigger hospital, but only prefers to do so with high risk pregnancies (it's further for him and hence, takes longer to get there). I reaaaaallylike this hospital, although his normal one is great as well, but unless I move closer to that one, he doesn't want me to deliver there. Lucky for me, we're house hunting in that area. It's about 30 min from our current home and 45 from work.

There are hospitals everywhere here, but I refuse to go to any other doctor and those are the only two he'll deliver at.

My OB's office & the hospital are literally right next to each other, and they are only about 1 mile from me. :P it's VERY convenient! It's actually on the same road I live on, one straight shot!

My doctor's office is about 10-15 minutes from my home. From work it varies, depending on my location for the day. Typically not more than 30 minutes.

The hospital is two blocks away from my doctor's office, which is awesome. It's also next door to DD's pedi. It's awesome. I love my doctor, DD's doctor, and my hospital. We really lucked out with it.

I work from home...

My doctor is 5 minutes from my house. (Though if there's an emergency situation on M or W and I need to be seen at her other office, that's about a 45 minute drive).

The hospital is about 45 minutes away.
