L&D scare

I was home, had to go #2 so I did, I stand up after and bright red, period like blood starts dropping everywhere... So scary! There's blood on my bathroom rug, floor, pants, and undies. I started freaking out and called DH. He flew home in about 10 mins. We went into L&D, I started contracting. The midwife checks me and tells me I'm still 2cm and then had me monitored for about 2 hours. The contractions were 4-5 mins apart, but couldn't do much since I was still 2cm and 50% thinned. So she sent me home with some paid meds in case the contractions get painful. Ughhh I want this baby out now! so basically, I'm in labor, but need to wait for stronger, & closer contractions.

    Ah scary!! Hopefully things eather ease up and get better or you get to meet your LO soon :) Positive thoughts going your way Mama!!! T&P's going your way!!

    Oh and I should add the bleeding was from my cervix...mucous plug...who knew THAT much blood was normal.

    Wow that must have been terribly scary. I hope that your contractions start coming on more and that you have have that baby soon!
