Anyone else's LO a terror lately?

My sweet, sweet DS has been replaced by a monster lately!! He throws temper tantrums now every single time we try to change him...or if he doesn't get his way...he screams and writhes around. He's impossible!! He's also started biting. Guess I have a toddler already!

  • Hell. Yes.

I found your post as I am sitting here fighting with my DD to take her nap. Argh!

  • We just got out of a 3 week phase like that. It was rough..but she's been good lately. Then again, she's always been a bit feisty anyways.

I got good at the art of distraction! ;)

  • Yes, we have been having a lot of tantrums lately. A lot. This little lady wants what she wants when she wants it!
  • Definitely. Everything you described, esp the biting I have bruises from him gnawing on my arm.

  • Yes! I feel like almost every nap and diaper change is a WWE showdown, and we have 3-5 rounds a day. Some days are good, but some days it is a real battle.

And yes, she has bit be 3 times now, hard enough to make me yelp and leave a mark :(.

  • Ugh, putting on pajamas tonight was an epic battle.  I hope he outgrows this, but I'm thinking it's here to stay.  LOL!

  • Thank goodness someone else is going through this as well. LO is horrible when it comes to getting his diaper changed or getting dressed. He does a 360 degree turn and then sits up. When I try to lay him back down he starts crying, that is if he is not already crying from just being put on his changing pad.

Eating is not much fun either. He normally starts off doing pretty good but then winds up trying to put his hands in his mouth and then starts flinging his hands at the spoon or trying to grab it if I get close. This leads to food being everywhere. DH and I have just started taking a break and then try again in a few minutes and if he is still acting that way I guess he is telling us he is done.

I too hope this phase passes. I also feel like we say the word "no" a lot to him. He looks at us like yeah whatever. haha
