I think I have a cold VENT!

i'm 30 weeks and I'm battleing a head cold or something right now as we speak! My ear will hurt and have pressure then it stops. My nose is super sore and congested and my throat is scratchy. Put a call into the doctor and I had to leave msg for a nurse. That was at 9am this morning! Called back and the receptionist said its Monday and they are very busy. They are trying there best to check there messages. She then suggested I call my PCP, but then said she might not even want to see me anyway. UGH so confused!! I just want to be seen or prescribed something if possible so I can rest comfortably at night and rest up for my baby shower on Saturday.

Anyways sorry for the vent lol ...

I know how you feel! I've had what I'm assuming is allergies for nearly a week now but they are getting better! I refuse to take any medication while I'm pregnant (unless someone told me it was life and death or I'm putting my baby at risk) so I haven't taken anything. I've been taking showers, sleeping with a cool mist humidifier, drinking orange juice, taking vitamins (duh! lol prenatals) and just eating a really healthy diet. Get plenty of sleep and as much fluid as you can get. My colds/allergies usually last 2-3 months but this one is on its way out after just a week.
