Sophia Juliette was born 6/11 @ 1:27 am. Quick birth story: I woke up Sunday with super mild contractions which lasted all day getting progressively worse. By 4pm they were every 3 minutes. They were never longer than 30-45 seconds. When we got to the hospital I was 3cm, -2. I quickly progressed to 7cm (med free!) where I stayed for the next 5 hours. At that point my ob advised us that a c/s was needed because her head was not engaging and I was not getting past 7cm. I was heartbroken as I wanted a natural birth more than anything (I am still sad about this), but everyone is healthy and happy!
Congrats!! Your story sounds almost exactly like mine - I was stuck at 7cm for 6 hours before agreeing to pitocin and eventually an epi, and ultimately a c-section b/c Raegan just wouldn't drop. I, too, desperately wanted an all-natural birth and am still a bit sad about it, but like you said, happy and healthy is all that matters.
And your LO has tons of hair just like mine! Adorable photo and such a great name - enjoy your new baby girl!

I am glad all is well for you! It is sad when things don't go remotely like planned but yay for the cutie babies! Hopefully next time we can all have the births we wanted!
