Any one else going crazy???

I'm one day past my due date, and I'm going nuts. My dr. had told me that if at this last appointment (on the 13th) if I hadn't made any progress, they would induce me on the 16th (2 days after DD), but now she says she didn't say that, and I have to wait until the 21st or 22nd! I'm still not dilated and only 50% effaced as of Wednesday, so I'm really worried this isn't going to happen on it's own!

Is anyone else having a similar experience?

Also, if one more person from my husband's family tells me to "be patient" I will probably scream.

    I was going nuts one day past my due date...crying at the drop of a hat and scared the baby was never going to come.  DH told me (lovingly) that I was being impateint and that it was only one day late but no one understands unless they are in your shoes.  It helped me to do "labor-inducing" things- even if I didn't even think they would really work, at least I was doing something.  I went for a walk, went driving on a bumpy road, had sex, etc and that made me more sane and maybe helped because the baby came the next day.  Today could be your day too- you never know!

    I'm in the same boat as you. My due date was 2 days ago, and I've had no sign of baby. I'm fairly confident she won't be here until at least wednesday, a week after edd, when I'm induced.

    im 4 days late, and my doctor won't induce until about 41.5 weeks because it's more of a natural, let the body lead type of practice. so I don't really know how you feel concerning the impending induction hopefully you won't have to be induced and everything works out for ya. but i have been so anxious and impatient but the days have actually gone by kinda quick so maybe they'll start going by fast for you.

    Went in last night with contractions 4-5 minutes apart for 6 hours.  Still only dilated to 1 and 60% effaced.  Sent home and contracted until about 8am this morning (so over 12 hours of contractions) and now... nothing.

    I have resigned myself to being pregnant forever.
