VOTD: He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. - Colossians 1:17 (ESV)
Feel free to respond to this verse.
QOTD: What is your favorite worship or reflective song? It could be your favorite of all-time, or maybe your favorite right now.

Re: ***TTCAL Bible Study Check-In***
Prayer concerns: I'm starting to feel much better. I appreciate the prayers. I feel myself getting stronger day by day. I could still use prayers for strength and also for joy, been kind of a debbie downer lately when I have so many things in my life that should be bringing me joy
VOTD: He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. - Colossians 1:17 (ESV)

QOTD: What is your favorite worship or reflective song? It could be your favorite of all-time, or maybe your favorite right now. "Our God" by Chris Tomlin.. my church does this song almost every week and I listen to it frequently throughout the week. I love it.
Good morning! I just want to tell you that I am loving that you are doing this
.Thanks Chlobub!
Prayer Concerns: still needing to sell our house. my DH need prayers to help him accept what is going on with his family. His mom decided after 30 years of marriage that she wanted a divorce out of the blue. my DH was completly blindsided & now has trouble sleeping b/c he is worried about his Dad being alone in their 4 bedroom house.
VOTD: sometimes I wonder if I'm going through all of this so I will learn to put God first in my life instead of ttc or work or school.
QOTD: I dont really think this is a worship song but my favorite "church" song is Beulah Land. it reminds me that one day I will finally get to see my baby.

Prayer concerns: BG, thinking of and praying for you this morning. Praying Psalm 51:12 for you: "Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit."
VOTD: He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. - Colossians 1:17 (ESV)
QOTD: Right now I'm really enjoying the band Gungor; I also like the song So Good to Me by Cory Asbury (although I'm biased and like it better when DH sings it. He leads worship at our church).I love that he is the opposite of things falling apart. He is so good; he is steady and faithful when everything seems like it's crashing down around us.

Great song; we do it at our church sometimes, too. And I'm glad you're feeling better; hoping your joy is restored. (Take a peek at the verse I'm praying for Bethelgal - you can steal it!

Prayer concerns: I could use some prayers for my sister. She deals with depression and some other mental health issues and has not been making good choices lately. It is really causing a lot of strain in the family, especially for my mom. Thanks!
VOTD: He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. - Colossians 1:17 (ESV)
Good choice today! It is difficult to remember this sometimes.
QOTD: What is your favorite worship or reflective song? It could be your favorite of all-time, or maybe your favorite right now.
Chris Tomlin's Amazing Grace- the My Chains Are Gone version.
I am glad you are feeling strength, Viking. Continued prayers coming for you to remain strong as well as for joy.
Prayer concerns: Well our little foster pup's cough has gotten worse. I'm really trying to stay positive, but I can't help but wonder if he got sick while in the shelter. DH is convinced it's nothing to be worried about, but a little prayer can't hurt, right?
VOTD: He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. - Colossians 1:17 (ESV) Goodness, the last part of this verse is hitting me like a truck this morning...
QOTD: What is your favorite worship or reflective song? It could be your favorite of all-time, or maybe your favorite right now. I talked about this in Thursday's LIW, but I absolutely love "Untitled Hymn" by Chris Rice. I think it reflects so well all the peaks and valleys of our time on Earth. And even though almost all of us are in the "crying to Jesus" stage, I pray we will all be "dancing for Jesus" some day soon!
Prayer concerns: I'm feeling better today than yesterday, at least so far. I want to ask for prayer for a friend. His wife left him a couple weeks back and is now asking for a divorce. It came completely out of the blue and for stupid reasons. I'm not going to get into it but he is heartbroken. Yesterday should have been their 4th anniversary and he's taking it hard.
VOTD: He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. - Colossians 1:17 (ESV)
I love this. In Him all things hold together. I need to remember that.
QOTD: What is your favorite worship or reflective song? It could be your favorite of all-time, or maybe your favorite right now.
Heart of Worship. I love that song. There are a few others that I like as well but I can't think of their names right now.

And Chlo - Perfect verse for joy I'll have to write that one down
I LOVE this verse. I really needed to reminded of this today.QOTD: What is your favorite worship or reflective song? It could be your favorite of all-time, or maybe your favorite right now.My favorite worship song right now would have to be "The Earth is Yours" by Gungor. (Also, "Beautiful Things" by Gungor) Those have been amazing sources or truth over the last several months.

Prayer concerns: Today I would really like prayers for patience at work. I have been having a really hard time lately with a lot of the chaos that has been happening (The firm I work for split so we're in the middle of a moving fiasco) among other things that I am trying to deal with that are work related.
VOTD: He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. - Colossians 1:17 (ESV)
Yet another reminder of how powerful and almighty our God is. What a comfort to know that he is in control of everything.
QOTD: What is your favorite worship or reflective song? It could be your favorite of all-time, or maybe your favorite right now.
OH! This is a good one. I love almost anything Casting Crowns. The one that is really speaking to me lately is Casting Crowns - Voice of Truth.
I will be praying for you everyone this weekend!
VOTD: He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. - Colossians 1:17 (ESV)
This is so important to remember, and reading it brings me peace.

I love the classics...absolutely love How Great Thou Art
Prayer concerns: A very good friend of mine is 8 weeks pg and just started spotting yesterday, and today showed an empty sac, so pray for some crazy miracle! As well as for her, because we all have been in similar situations and know how heart-wrenchingly terrifying it is.

VOTD: He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. - Colossians 1:17 (ESV)
This is amazing and so, so true. Definitely something I try to remember when I am having those rough moments.
QOTD: What is your favorite worship or reflective song? It could be your favorite of all-time, or maybe your favorite right now.
I just absolutely love Amazing Grace. I know it can be a "sad" song to some but it's always been one of my favorites. I think that is due to my grandmother humming/singing it when I was yougn.

One of my favorite lines is "When we've been there 10,000 years bright shining as the sun, we've no less days to sing God's praise than when we've first begun." Such an exciting picture of eternity - that we'll never run out of things to praise God for! I should live like this every day now.
