FET update & some upsetting work news for me

My FET is set for NEXT FRIDAY!!! Wooo hoo!

With that being said, I just found out today that I am being switched out of my building (I am a 1st grade teacher) to another building & I am switching grades (going to K). I have to have my entire classroom packed up in boxes by Thursday (keep in mind the FET is Friday morning). I have to say goodbye to all the families, kids, and co-workers that I have worked with for 10 years. I am FREAKED the freak out. I have to learn a new curriculum. With all this infertility crud going on does not help. If I get pregnant or if I don't, come September I am going to have added stress. It is going to be starting from scratch. I know that I will be "ok", but I am just so emotional. I LOVE where I work...I look forward to watching my 1st graders grow up, get big & visit me. I have known some of those families for years. I was given 5 days notice to pack up & say goodbye...totally bites the big one. :(

    I'm sorry pbj that is a lot to get done in a short amount of time, but I know you can do it. Maybe you can convince DH to come in and help you out?!? Good luck with your FET on Friday!

    1st u/s on 10/10/12: It's Twins! We found out on 12/16/12 that we were having two BOYS!
    C & D were born on 5/16/13 at 10:46 am and 10:47 am

    I teach in a middle school and my entire department got switched around. I got to stay in my position but the women I work so incredibly well with and with whom I copied and planned this whole next year with got moved. It sucks big time. I'm sorry you have that added stress and starting over. 

    Yay for FET though, I hope it goes well!

    So sorry you are being switched buildings and grades, hopefully once you get settled in you will enjoy it as much as you enjoyed teaching 1st grade in your current school.

    4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d

    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d

    Yay for having a set date for your FET!  I'm sorry everything is crazy with work, and it's a rough transition, but maybe a silver lining is that having to build curriculum over the summer will keep your mind busy - which will be important regardless of the outcome of your FET.

    Ugh, what a blow. I hope that the FET silver lining of your week overshines the switching grades junk!

    GL with the FET and all I can say is "recruit help!" I am sorry you have to deal with this

    Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
    IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
    IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
    Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
    SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

    Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!
