Hello ladies! I apologize for being so absent this past week. I blame her:
Our new pup, Nellie, has been sick so that meant a last-minute road trip for me and our other dog so that he could stay with my parents until she's better because we don't want him to catch the virus she has.
I've been catching up on all of the posts I've missed, but, in the mean time, I want to send big, big (((HUGS))) to all of you. Thinking of you all and hoping you have a great Friday!

i have a friend who just adopted a dog that looks 'just' like her. What breed is it? Almost looks like a golden mixed with maybe a yellow lab?
Thanks for the get well wishes for Nellie! The shelter deemed her a lab-poodle mix, but we're thinking maybe some kind of golden-lab-spaniel mix because she's only about 25 pounds.

Yeah I would lean towards spaniel over poodle. My friends dog is bigger than yours, I think she probably weighs close to 50 pounds. I couldn't tell from the picture that she was only 25lbs.
