Twins baby shower gift?

Help me decide what to do here...I usually do a miracle blanket  (DH calls it giving the gift of sleep!) + something cute like hairbows, embroidered burp cloths, tie onesie, etc for one baby mamas. A friend of ours is having boy/girl twins and I need to decide what to do for her. I can probably only afford to do around $40-$50. Is it odd to do just one miracle blanket (they registered for them) even though they are having 2 babies? and then i can do something cute from etsy for each of them for the other half of the present?

    I don't think its a bad idea to get one of them and then something else that is nice for each baby as an individual.  I put it in this perspective if you wanted to buy her a tummy time mat, high chair,  pnp or even a crib sheet set would anyone honestly be expected to buy both?Just because she is having "double the babies" doesn't really mean everyone can double the budget for gifts

    Anything to help the new mom get something she needs and wants is a generous thing.

    I don't think it's odd.  They will probably get more from other people, especially if they registered for them.  I always loved getting the personalized or cutesie items that I knew people put some extra thought into.  I think 1 miracle blanket (practical) and something small and more personal for each baby is a perfect balance.
