A VERY Cautious Intro... (Sorry--it's kinda long)
I feel so blessed and excited to be able to make an intro on this board after 32 cycles and many failed IF treatments.
Some of you may know that in April we had our 1 and only IVF cycle. It ended up being a failure. Even the Crinone didn't keep AF from showing her ugly face. I didn't schedule a WTF appointment because I knew we were done with all ART treatments. I was completely heartbroken.
DH and I had a very long heart to heart a few days after Mother's Day. I?m going to be 41 in October and have a dx of DOR. After our talk I started feeling like maybe it just wasn't meant to be for us to have a child together. It's funny how I really started to feel at peace about the end of our TTC journey.
I stopped taking ALL my vitamins, baby aspirin, drank like a fish, ate raw oysters, etc... I even put all the baby items I had been collecting over the years on CL. The very last bit sold on 06.05.12. Just before our last buyer was to arrive I had DH help me carry the remaining items downstairs. While doing so he looked at me and said "are you sure about this." I said "yes."
AF was scheduled to arrive on 06.03.12 but she decided to stay MIA. Finally after a week DH talked me into taking a HPT (he even drove me to the drugstore himself). I just knew for sure I wasn't pg and that the IVF cycle had somehow messed up my cycle. Well much to my dismay two lines showed up almost instantaneously.
I have been very hesitant to announce my OMFG BFP SURPRISE or add anything to my siggy because I didn't want to jinx myself but after all this time it's kind of hard to contain my excitement.
I had my first beta on Tuesday and my number was 2,770. Beta #2 was this morning and I just got the call from my RE's office. My number is 6,300. We have our first u/s scheduled for Monday morning. I'm so nervous but will start to feel better once we get to see a heartbeat (our last bfp ended up being a blighted ovum).
I have my Fx that I'm here to stay! I look forward to getting to know all of you

After 3 failed TI cycles, 3 failed IUI cycles, a couple of c/ps, we got our sticky baby on IUI #4 (first with injects).
Feb '12 Clomid/Menopur/Ganirelix/IVIL/Heparin/Acupuncture + IUI #4= BFP!

Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.
IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.
Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.
