  i like sofia better i wouldnt know how to pronounce lila.. is it lee-la or ly-la

  I like Sofia over Lila. Lila reminds me of the flower and anyone can be named after a flower. Sofia means wisdom and I think think that is much better to represent than just a flower.

  Sophia seems to be getting extremely popular right now.  I'd go with Lila.  Both are pretty however!

  Sophia.  I actually was thinking of naming my baby Sophia if we are having a girl but it's true what the PP said.  Sophia is now one of the top ten girl names and I wanted her name not to be strange but unique enough.

  I have to laugh. I love them both, but Lila is close to what we chose if its a girl, so I'd go that route. Sophia was one of my options, but DH said it was to old sounding.

  i like lila (it's my niece's name) and for some reason i have always liked the name sophie more than sophia... i know sophie is a nickname of sophia, but i always liked it more
