Need some honest opinions please! PIP

I wanted to do a painting of some sort for Rhett's room. I found a quote that I really liked and decided to do that and add my DS1's hand prints to it. I still love the idea but I'm not too sure of my lettering job.... WDYT?

Should I start over and maybe stencil the letters or leave it?

I don't think it looks bad by any means, but I personally would do stenciled letters. I always think the consistency of stenciled letters looks sharp. I really love what you did though, the hand prints were a great idea!

I think it would look too neat if it was stenciled. I think having freestyle letters matches the quote better, looks good.

Thanks ladies. One part of me thought that the lettering did match the quote a little better but the perfectionist in me is having a hard time accepting that the letters aren't perfect lol..

kiki, it has been pretty crazy here. Between moving, my DF working OOT and being gone a lot, planning my BFF"s baby shower and a bday party for my almost 2yr old, chasing after said almost 2yr old, and having a couple PTL scares I haven't been on that much. Thankfully things are settling down a little and I'm able to post a little more. How are you doing? And OMG! Look at that adorable bump in your siggy! You look awesome! Can you believe its almost time for our boys to be here?!

However, if you wanted to try something else just for the heck of it, to see if you like it better - maybe try this idea? It's fresh in my mind because I just did a fingerpainted canvas with DS for a fathers day gift last night.

You tape down the letters, then let DS fingerpaint over them (or you could just do a bunch of hand prints over it). Then peel off the tape.

Love it just the way it is! I'm jealous actually, because I made two similar boards with quotes on them to hang in LO's room but I printed off letters from the computer in different fonts, cut them out, then used Modge Podge to put them on the board. I knew my handwritting would look horrible if I went that route.

That is super cute! I may have to do another one picture and do that as well!
